I have been researching my family history on and off for about 15 years now. I seem to have gathered lots of information but there are still gaps in places and a lot more work to do.

ANCESTOR TREE

Using a wonderful program called Ged2HTML I have produced an index of the surnames in my family tree. Click on the link below.

SURNAME INDEX

There is a link to my homepage at the bottom of each of the pages so if you get so far in that you can't back out to this page, you can always go to my homepage and follow the link back here.

There aren't many of us who don't have an ancestor who fought in one of the World Wars. My grandfather William Jubb and his younger brother Robert served in the First World War, Robert never returned and a visit to his war grave inspired me to write THIS POEM

I have come across some interesting and unusual websites during my research as well as the more well known. Here are links to a few of them.

Search for your Scottish Ancesters on SCOTLAND'S PEOPLE.

Search the indexes of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on FAMILY SEARCH.

Search for the final resting place of or memorial to your Commonwealth ancestors killed in the two world wars on THE COMMONWEALTH WAR GRAVES SITE

The very interesting site of the PUBLIC RECORD OFFICE or ACCESS TO ARCHIVES as it is now known, with lots of their helpful leaflets available online.

My 3 x great grandfather was in the 64TH REGIMENT OF FOOT albeit during a later period than this site deals with. This is a very interesting site.

A One-Name Study of one of my surname interest
McMORRAN ONE-NAME STUDY. Please note that the link to my email address on this site is incorrect.  I have emailed the webmaster several times to ask him to change it but it is still wrong so please do not attempt to email me through that link.
